During the event, the retired project director of TVEL JSC, Eduard Nikitin, was interviewed by the World Energy Network. When asked about the decommissioning of nuclear equipment and the treatment of radioactive waste, Rosatom representatives reaffirmed the company's standing as a global nuclear technology and service provider, offering advanced solutions worldwide. Additionally, they pointed out that decommissioned nuclear power plants will begin to be dismantled and the associated radioactive waste processed for more than ten years, ensuring that social and environmental expectations are met.
