HelioRec, a French company specializing in floating solar technology, has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Shoreham Port in the United Kingdom to develop a floating solar power project. This collaboration aims to transform unused water spaces at the port into sources of renewable energy, supporting the port’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

HelioRec emphasized the significance of the agreement, stating: “We are proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shoreham Port to develop a new floating solar power project in the UK.” The project aligns with the company’s mission to create sustainable energy solutions by utilizing water surfaces efficiently.

The initiative focuses on promoting environmentally friendly energy practices at Shoreham Port, a key coastal facility.
