The company estimates that its turbines have supplied power to approximately 27 million households globally. Additionally, it reports that these installations have prevented the release of around 139 million tonnes of carbon dioxide, supporting cleaner energy alternatives. In a celebratory video, Siemens Gamesa stated: “Since 1991, Siemens Gamesa has pioneered offshore wind across Europe, APAC, and the US.” The company emphasized its ongoing commitment, adding: “Today, we celebrate a great achievement: 5000 turbines installed offshore.” It also expressed optimism about future progress, noting: “Step by step, we’re shaping the future of offshore wind!”
